Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been won on hardcourt
A comeback Daniil Medvedev secured his initial title for nearly 30 months with success over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a former world number one, has endured a difficult season, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and suffering a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serve in particular - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with former mentor Cervara.
Currently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the last few weeks - climaxing in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over challenger Moutet.
It is his first title after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court since spring of that year.
Success also means he has secured 21 championships at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my children together, so to get a title is really nice," said world number 14 Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child my daughter, because the maiden victory I won when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had been defeated in his last six title deciders, comprising in Halle earlier this year.
His defensive play style and frequent emotional displays on court had prompted commentators to doubt if his capacity to compete at the highest level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and compete assertively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
He fought back from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, winning 4 of the last five games to go ahead.
The pair exchanged service breaks in the second set before the challenger, attempting for his first tour championship, seized the initiative to create a decider.
The opponent rescued four initial chances in a competitive final set before the champion secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Appropriately, he clinched victory with a rally at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to manage a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
